Alive ‘n’ Kiki is the beating heart of Maria Cristina Pavarini, also known as Kiki, an Italian journalist with proven experience in the global fashion, sportswear, jeanswear, denim, textile, value chain, sustainability, retail, lifestyle, and trend sectors. Through this space, I share the knowledge I have gained through my collaboration with prestigious market insiders, magazines and websites offering a unique and in-depth perspective.

I have also made significant contributions to special celebrative issues and leading industry publications, such as The SPIN OFF, SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL and SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL 50th Anniversary Special (November 2025). Previously, for the same magazine, I wrote articles for special publications including The Jeans Encyclopedia, The Denim Bible, and The Sports Bible, as well as several editions of Who’s Who and retail guides, and other titles including Fashion Magazine, the historical prestigious Italian trade publication.

As part of the Italian National Journalist Order since 2005, I have been involved in various prestigious projects. Among others, I had the honor of moderating numerous round tables and talks for specialized trade fairs such as Denim Premiere Vision, Munich Fabric Start, and Pitti Uomo, involving key players in the sector, as well as collaborating with high-profile global companies.
