Pitti's eP-Summit cancels 2026 edition

EP Summit, the event focused on high-tech and digital technology organized by Pitti Immagine at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, will not take place this year.

After a careful evaluation of companies’ commitments and the trend in participation requests, Pitti Immagine has decided to cancel the next edition scheduled to take place on 9 April.

The company communicated its decision after apologies to the operators already registered, while guaranteeing prompt reimbursement of any expenses that may have been incurred.

“The cancellation of this edition of eP-Summit, which we prefer to describe as a suspension, is due to changes that have taken place within the sector of events dedicated to digital technological innovation, as well as a number of overlaps in the calendar that create dispersion and confusion,” commented Ivano Cauli, general director, Pitti Immagine.

“Certainly, the news coming from the war fronts, with their impact on the economic climate, has not helped. Nevertheless, this is a decision we have taken with regret, as we remain firmly convinced of the need to promote this kind of knowledge and experience in service of the fashion and luxury system. For this reason, we are working within the company to identify a format, a date, and an occasion to reposition these activities effectively within the Pitti Immagine portfolio as soon as possible,” added Cauli.

Spanning over two days, the 2025 edition had recalled 50 exhibiting companies specializing in high-tech and digital technology, and around 700 industry professionals. The event had hosted around various round tables, speeches, and presentations, with almost 40 talks on the agenda and guests sharing their experiences and visions of the future of fashion under the banner of interconnection with technology.
