Intertex Milano is revving its engines and preparing for the next event for the global textile industry. The next edition of the fair will be held from July 7 to 9 at the Milan Marriott Hotel Convention & Exhibition Center in Milan, at Via Washington 66, and will host over 100 exhibitors, including highly specialized fabric and clothing manufacturers and fashion professionals from around the world.
This annual event has been running since 2018 and is owned by Italian Fair Service Srl. Since its inception, it has been held in Milan, the global capital of fashion and design, known for hosting prestigious fashion houses and important textile and wholesale districts.
The event is a strategic commercial platform for sourcing high-quality fabrics, accessories, and innovative materials, offering a broad overview of the main developments in the sector and new trends.
It offers a wide range of products, from fabrics for women’s and men’s clothing to shirts. Key players in kidswear, casualwear, lingerie, beachwear, and home textiles are also present.
Specialists from other sectors also participate, including suppliers in the cocktail and bridal wear sector, as well as specialists offering leading solutions for made-to-measure clothing and technical fabrics.
Visitors will also find high-end materials such as silk and similar fabrics, innovative fibers, printed fabrics, cotton, linen, and hemp, as well as denim, knitwear, wool, and cashmere, along with high-performance and advanced research materials, such as the latest sustainable solutions.
The product range is completed by accessories such as trimmings, buttons, zippers, labels, metal accessories, linings, and yarns for knitwear and weaving.
The event also features a trends area, curated by Maria Cristina Fedriani, an expert insider in the sector who has been studying the main market trends for many years and collaborates with various international fashion brands.
This trade fair is aimed at a wide audience of players—from large retailers to the mid-range and high fashion sectors—because the exhibitors will include, for example, high-end manufacturers from India specializing in the production of silk fabrics, as well as lace and embroidery. In addition, there will also be a large representation from the cashmere supply chain in China and Nepal.
Other major manufacturers from Italy, Turkey, Bangladesh, Central Asia, Pakistan, and Eastern Europe will also be among the exhibitors.
