Closing its last edition held in Paris’ Villepinte, at Parc des Expositions, on 3-5 February 2026, the Première Vision Paris SS27 hosted a significant influential cross-disciplinary fashion platform, extending beyond textiles to encompass related markets in design, trends, and lifestyle.

While it presented about 1,000 exhibitors, including a highly inspiring section dedicated to s/s 2027 trends and color palette, it hosted a highly inspiring selection of ideas that lend themselves for creative experimentation to explore new territories.

These new fields of expression extended beyond beauty and music to new creative worlds such as perfume, photography, and pastry.

Alongside the show’s exhibitors, a selection of international partners has been invited to interpret the show’s 26-color card for s/s 2027, including specialised companies from Japan, Portugal and France. They showcased their high-ability to translate local tradition and craftsmanship into new creative developments ready to set new directions in global high-quality fashion, as presented in the general trend forum as in specific talks, seminars,

Not less important was the debut of a new space—the Linen Experience—hosted by The European Linen and Hemp Alliance introduces a new space, the “Linen Experience.” This immersive area presented itself at center stage, highlighting the qualities of certified European linen while presenting the most significant steps of linen and hemp cultivation, fiber transformation and weaving. It involved growers from Northern Europe countries like Belgium, France and The Netherlands and involving highly specialised and creative top-quality international fabric manufacturers.

We spoke about the show’s present situation and future evolution with Florence Rousson, general manager of the fashion division of GL Events.

How is the show going?

We are happy of this edition of the show considering the global context. We are now hosting a trade show with more or less 1,000 exhibitors and with dynamism and qualitative exchanges.

I don’t know what feedback you had, but we are honored we were able to produce high-quality content through our new show concept and approach. In particular, for this edition we have hosted the theme of savoir-faire involving countries like Portugal, Japan and France. All three show many significant examples of companies focused on this kind of excellent craftsmanship and manufacturing.

We are also honored that together with the development of the Maison d’Exception, as part of the forum, we also integrated that part of the savoir-faire projects, with the opening of the segments like photography and gastronomy.

Is this choice showing to meet expectations?

The idea is to think that the color is at the centre of the creative inspiration, not only in clothing, but in all creative industries–be it arts, fashion and much more because the trade show must be a show of information, of solution and inspiration. Anyway, for us it is always important to continue with that opening, let’s say, on those new segments.

Did you register visits from new insiders?

We have to see after analysing the attendance data after the closing of the show. We will also see what areas and booths visitors went to see, what they did, what were their main points of reference and attraction to try to understand, what appointments and inquiries they did to try to understand how their needs also change, what they come to look for.

Information is always inspiration. So we are adjusting our offer according to our visitors’ requests, and to what areas and exhibitors haveattracted more attention than others. For instance the beauty area is working well.

What exhibitors did you host for the new product segments?

As part of our spring/summer 2027 Prospective Forum, among key players we hosted there were  Fiabila, the world leader in nail polish; Robertet, a global leader in the fragrance industry based upon natural ingredients.

We also hosted the DJ collective Abondance offering a musical interpretation of the colors and materials of s/s 2027 gifting an immersive sound experience reflecting the dynamics of the trends.

Not less important were works by photographer Victor Boccard, and the RedKids collective offers a radical interpretation through images by Solal Marinier and Evan Mauduit, exploring new visual expressions for brands.

Finally, pastry chef Davis Félicité created a gourmet creation inspired by the colorful worlds of Première Vision, extending the performative dimension of color into the visual and gustatory experience.

All these distinguished players helped conveying a multisensory narrative, and a catalyst for innovation across all creative industries.

How will the show evolve further?

This February edition was the second test we did there. In September we will have a wider exposure offer, because now we are also working on a partnership that will allow us to have a slightly more global offer, but it works very well.

We want to continue evolving in this direction as the beauty and cosmetic market is very strategic. Moreover, even on a higher level, each brand can offer a more branded accessible product that makes you dream.

What about technology? In this edition there were not many companies from this segment. What evolution can we expect in this area?

Technology will be again a key theme of our September edition. We decided to host specific sections that are different in February and September both in terms of exhibitors and and talks.

We will always host the smart creation section, while for the innovation segment there will be more novelties, but for our September edition.

What will happen for denim?

We have some important projects. In Milan we will continue hosting our two editions per year, in May and November. But we will also host a new section to be developed in the framework of Tranoi Tokyo, which takes place in September. We decided to start as we seem to have an opportunity for denim creators to develop their activity abroad, outside of Europe.

We will host a highlight of denim presenting a dozen of denim manufacturers—a few key palyers from Japan, a few mothers from Turkey and a another small selection from Europe, but generally, all companies that are structured and willing to expand in Asia and Japan.

Are there any new areas where Premiere Vision would like to grow further?

Yes, we have already succeeded with beauty, for instance, but we have to continue and move forward in the right way.

Are you planning to host more exhibitors in the future? How?

What interests us is to have qualitative exhibitors, I don’t know if at that point, in that period, in the global context in general, it is not important for us to grow in terms of the number of exhibitors. What interests us is to maintain a high offer level with selected qualitative players that help widening the scope offering a slightly wider coverage and range of product segments.
