Luisaviaroma will be saved by a pool of investors–from Paolo Corinaldesi to Marzotto family

To prevent Luisaviaroma from going into liquidation, a group of Italian investors led by Paolo Corinaldesi (former CEO of Woolrich and Filson) has submitted an offer to acquire the company by the end of 2026.

After requesting access to the simplified composition-with-creditors procedure, the Court of Florence has approved the acquisition by the new company, LVR Srl, led by Corinaldesi and including the Marzotto family, entrepreneur Gian Luca Sghedoni (CEO of Litokol), Ettore Riello (general manager of Riello), and Luca Poggi, founding partner of Poggi & Associati.

A first meeting between the new pool of owners and the local unions will happen on 5 August.

The offer includes most of Luisaviaroma’s assets, including its online operations and brick-and-mortar stores, as well as nearly 200 employees (plus nearly 200 others involved in logistics), inventory, technology, and brands—but not the New York store, which has closed.

According to local media, the transaction will ensure business continuity through the f/w 2026/27 season, paving the way for the business’ relaunch. The new investors estimate the company will reach between €120 and €140 million revenues for 2027, down from the full-year 2025 revenue of between €280 and €300 million.

The transaction represents the final step in a long corporate restructuring process.

A year ago, Luisaviaroma had in fact announced a cost-cutting plan, which had led to the closure of its Milan offices. In August, it had requested protective measures from the court and the Chamber of Commerce with the aim of ensuring business continuity, while at the same time seeking to restructure its debt.

In December 2025, following the exit of the private equity fund Style Capital—led by Roberta Benaglia and the majority shareholder—the company entrusted the business to CEO and shareholder Tommaso Maria Andorlini, who has now announced he will retain his position as CEO and will resume investing in the new company.
