Prada, the renowned Italian luxury brand, will open Prada Galleria to the public in Milan, inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
The project offers a multi-level experience of the Prada Universe, combining fashion, gastronomy, and culture. The new experiential space will occupy multiple levels in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, home to the original Prada Brothers boutique dating back to 1913.
The new complex includes the women’s and men’s boutiques, the historic Marchesi 1824 pastry shop, the Fondazione Prada Observatory, an exclusive private area reserved for its customers, and an exhibition dedicated to the brand’s history and evolution.
From current projects to future aspirations, Prada Galleria brings together the entire Prada universe under one roof for the first time. The development spans both sides of the Galleria, beneath the central dome. On one side is Prada Uomo, from which all the other upper floors branch out, and on the other is the Prada Donna boutique, which will be expanded and connected to Prada Uomo via a new underground passageway.
Above Prada Uomo, there will be a floor dedicated to private shopping, appointments for bespoke services, and select categories such as jewelry. There will also be a floor hosting brand events and special guests, and an entire floor dedicated to Pradasphere, an ever-evolving public exhibition that traces over a century of Prada’s creativity.
These new additions complement the historic Marchesi 1824 pastry shop and café, as well as Osservatorio, the Fondazione Prada space that launched its experimental and research activities on technology and cultural expressions in 2016.
