Val:ue Milan is Messe Frankfurt's new high-end fabric show

Messe Frankfurt, the global leader in the textile sector and organizer of over 60 trade shows across 14 countries, aims to expand its international textile network. For this it will launch Val:ue Milan, a new event format–a prestigious “boutique-style” hub showcasing a selection of premium fabrics and accessories for apparel.

It will take place from February 3 to 5, 2027, at The Mall, in the Porta Nuova district, partially overlapping with Milano Unica, the industry’s leading trade show scheduled for February 2–4.

The new event aims to stand out from conventional formats by offering an environment where every detail is meticulously curated and designed to provide opportunities for strategic networking.

By bringing together high-end international manufacturers and the most qualified buyers, Val:ue Milan aims to strengthen the group’s global portfolio by creating a unique and impactful concept built around a refined and carefully curated selection.

With the launch of Val:ue Milan, Messe Frankfurt introduces a highly specialized business opportunity, designed for selected manufacturers, brands, and professionals operating at the pinnacle of the textile sector, in the heart of one of the world’s most influential fashion capitals.

The choice of Milan is no coincidence, as the fashion capital continues to serve as a strategic hub for design, innovation, and manufacturing excellence, while also offering a unique ecosystem that fosters exchange, creativity, and new business opportunities for the entire international community of high-quality textiles.

Val:ue Milan establishes itself as an upscale project focused on the excellence of fabrics, accessories, and cutting-edge textile solutions.

“Milan is the crossroads where fashion excellence meets industrial expertise and major international brands,” says Donald Wich, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Italia.

“With Val:ue Milan, we are launching a project that brings these strengths together and opens them up to an international dimension: a platform designed to connect selected suppliers from the world’s major production hubs with the European market. The goal is to establish a distinctive hub in Milan for high-end sourcing, capable of engaging with existing industry players through a clear identity and a profile of excellence,” adds the manager.

“With the launch of Val:ue Milan, we are strategically expanding the reach of our global Texpertise network,” states Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, whose global textile community involves over 500,000 professionals.

“Milan offers an unparalleled stage, where a deep-rooted design culture meets international prestige, making it the natural setting for this new format. This boutique-style business hub sets a new standard within our portfolio, reflecting our long-term vision: to strengthen our presence in

major fashion capitals through a highly differentiated approach, offering sophisticated and strategic solutions across the entire textile supply chain,” adds Braun.

The new show aims to become a strategic meeting point for an ecosystem for luxury products– from masters of fine fibers to architects of transparent supply chains and innovative aesthetics–and very probably aims to compete with Milano Unica.
