The latest edition of Denim Première Vision closed its last edition, registering the presence of 1,900 visitors from over 700 companies, representing 50 countries, and a program of 12 conferences presented by more than 22 expert speakers, registering an attendance of more than 400 participants at the conferences.
The show hosted 64 exhibitors and has once again established itself as the premier destination for the international denim community, emphasizing quality of exchange and forward-thinking innovation over mere volume. In a rapidly evolving global market, the event showcased a highly qualitative atmosphere, marked by strong business engagement and a diverse, international visitor profile.
“This season, the show demonstrated that quality matters more than quantity,” commented Fabio Adami Dalla Val, show manager, Denim Première Vision.
“In a global context where the industry is evolving rapidly and visitor profiles are naturally diversifying, we experienced highly qualitative exchanges, strong business engagement, and a remarkable international presence throughout the show,” he added, remarking that they noticed an increased presence from the US market.
“More than increasing numbers, our ambition is to cultivate the right connections-bringing together visionary companies, decision-makers, and creative leaders capable of shaping the future of the denim industry,” he continued while emphasizing the importance of it happening in Milan, a city that attracts international brands along with high-end and designer brands, together with appreciated key international jeans players.
Among others, they registered visitors from top notch companies including, among others, Acne Studios, All Saints, Amiri, Ann Demeulemeester, Brunello Cucinelli, Calliope, Calvin Klein, Canali, Chiara Ferragni, Christian Dior, Citizens Of Humanity, Diesel, Dondup, Edwin Europe, Etro, Fendi, G-Star, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Guess, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Moncler, Nudie Jeans, Paige, Pepe Jeans, Replay, Roy Roger’s Kids, Stone Island, The Row, Triarchy, Vivienne Westwood and Zegna.
Among most outstanding aspects of the show was the Underrated project, presenting a collection of looks designed by Kristian Guerra in partnership with Denim PV exhibitors, including leading partners such as JRC Reflex, Gruppocinque, Sarp Jeans, Chottani Industries, Geocot, Sharabati, Japan Blue, Caitac Denim, Haseller, Isko, Officina39, YKK and BAP Group utilizing premium textiles and specialized production facilities (see some of the top picks here).
The collaborative project “Three Collections, One Vision” paid a tribute to Adriano Goldschmied. The space hosted the last three collections designed by the recently departed denim guru featuring his partnership with Pioneer Denim and Soko.
The project was an immersive exploration of fabric, wash innovation, texture, craftsmanship, and timeless design also disclosing an ongoing video presenting Goldschmied at work while developing his collaborations, according to by OPAA Studio’s interpretation through its own emotional and visual dimension.
Among other innovations disclosed during the event there were some significant technical achievements as Chloris disclosing a new biobased blue dyeing system and XLance presenting a new bio-circular stretch fiber obtained by recovering cooking oil into a new circular stretch fiber that has the same performance of regular stretch, produces les CO2 emissions that traditional spandex and is 100% recyclable.
Among other projects, the show disclosed a collaboration with Istituto Marangoni Marangoni Milano to support the next generation of talent. For the partnership, four exhibitors–Isko Luxury by PG, Advance Denim, Officina39 and Tonello–hosting exclusive sessions within the school.
Denim Première Vision also presented a new step of its commitment to sustainability reaching a new milestone through a collaboration with the CBI (the Dutch government agency) and hosted the “Circular Apparel Tunisia” project showcasing the support provided to 18 Tunisian companies transitioning toward circular production.
