The next edition of Kingpins China-Hangzhou is nearing as it will take place on May 21-22 Denim trends taking place at run at ADM More in Hangzhou’s Gonshu District.
Various themes and initiatives will characterise it. Among them they will discuss about AI’s impact on the industry, and the evolution of stonewashing.
BeDisobedient will return to Hongzhou with its Denim Forecast, titled, “Curating the Market.” For the first time the consultancy will present its forecast in Chinese. Kingpins ’s CEO, Vivian Wang, will also lead two panel discussions: one titled “Fiber to fabric: how china’s integrated supply chain is redefining denim innovation” and another called “The new china consumer: beyond price, toward value and culture.”
Kingpins China-Hangzhou will feature a mix of B2B and consumer facing activities, including initiatives, installations, workshops and retail. Lil Denim Jean will curate the Lildenimmall featuring a lineup of emerging designers including Wirote, Cyliguya Cyto Cyema, Atelier Yee, Lurkworldwide and Veerkracht.
A fashion show will take place t 16:00 on Friday, May 22. Among other looks it will present a finale dress created by Dinghui featuring tie dye created during the show at the Simwood + WeiShan San-Yi tie-dyed industrial dyeing presentation.
