The organization of Shift has decided to postpone its Frankfurt show edition planned for July, 1st an 2nd, 2026. They announced via social media that the first Frankfurt edition will take place in January 2027.

“We are ready. The concept is in place, the team is in place, and the energy to launch is fully there. At the same time, we do see that there are brands, agents, distributors and partners in the market with real ambition and courage but simply not enough of them yet to deliver a strong, collective and successful launch,” they explained via social media.

“In the current context, marked by uncertainty and caution across the industry, many players are choosing to wait and see. As a result, the broader momentum needed to launch Shift at the level we envision is not yet in place. Without that critical mass of engagement and commitment, it is not possible to build something that truly stands strong from day one.”

This is decision they have taken as the collective support is strong enough.

Shift Frankfurt remains on the roadmap and is planned to happen in January 2027. In the meantime, they are focusing on next edition of Shift Amsterdam scheduled for June 22, and Modefabriek happening on July 5th and 6th.
