Denim Première Vision, the global trade show dedicated to the denim industry, will return to Milan at Superstudiopiù on May 20 and 21, 2026.
The show’s 9th Milanese edition will feature strategic partnerships with Istituto Marangoni and the CBI, will present f/w 2027/2028 trends, and will host over 60 top-notch exhibitors from around the world, with strong representation from Italy and Japan.
This edition will present a highly renovated feature with ten percent new exhibitors and the return of global leaders such as the American manufacturer Cone Denim and India’s Arvind Limited.
The show’s offer includes a highly diversified ratio of players of the denim value chain subdivided among 60% denim mills, 20% garment makers, and 20% accessory, technology, and service providers.
Among others, there will be a first-time participant from Pakistan—the accessory manufacturer Jawaid Bross.
Hyping the industry’s commitment to sustainability
The show is increasing its engagement with eco-responsibility as it will present a new collaboration with the CBI (the Dutch government agency) and “Circular Apparel Tunisia”, a new project that will showcase 18 Tunisian companies transitioning toward circular production in compliance with European market requirements.
A new pioneering project will also take the stage–Redefining Blue. This partnership involves the show and Chloris, a chemical specialist. Together they will unveil the latest developments in Claessen Blue, Chloris’ flagship bio-based dye, along with the first results of the project’s initial phase. Chloris has already started collaborating with significant global denim manufacturers and wants to serve as a platform for research, validation, and industrial application, supporting the industry’s shift toward more responsible dyeing processes.
As part of the project presentation, Chloris will showcase its latest advancements within a dedicated stand designed to highlight the distinctive features and scientific foundations of the initiative. In addition, Li Li, chief brand & strategic officer, at Chloris, will present the outcomes of the first validation and research phase of Redefining Blue during a dedicated panel discussion, alongside Fabio Adami Dalla Val, show manager, Denim Premiere Vision, with moderation by journalist Maria Cristina Pavarini.
Sustainability has many faces, and each player can achieve the goal to impact less differently. This is the aim of another talk involving three very different brands yet sharing the same goal to lower their emissions.
The three protagonists of the talk will be Andrea Bonfini, owner and art director, Fade Out Label; Ksenia Schnaider, co-founder, co-creative director, Kseniaschnaider; and Adam Taubenfligel, co-founder, of the US premium jeans brand Triarchy. Maria Cristina Pavarini, journalist, will moderate the talk.
Pioneer Denim remembers Adriano Goldschmied
Pioneer Denim, a global denim and garment specialist, and Soko, a sustainable chemical industry connected to the denim industry, will showcase three collections created by the recently departed Adriano Goldschmied.
They will host them in an 80-sq. meter area of the mezzanine of the Daylight Hall, within a multimedia installation curated by OPA Studio.
Each collection stands as a testament to Goldschmied’s meticulous pursuit of a modern, sustainable denim, both in terms of aesthetics and process. These creations embody his enduring legacy, reflecting the unique mark he has made on the industry and on all those who met and worked with him.
A new accent for the Denim Trend Forum
This edition’s Denim Trend Forum will present a forward-thinking denim wardrobe developed in collaboration with Italian designer Kristian Guerra, the Denim PV Fashion Team, and its exhibitors.
The project blends authentic heritage with a futuristic vision and explores the full spectrum of denim, from raw indigo to coated and overdyed finishes. Through in-depth research into washes, treatments, constructions, and volumes, each piece pushes the boundaries of the material.
