A new chapter has started for Calik Denim under a new leadership structure, lead by Eray Karaduman as general manager.
He is bringing his extensive international leadership experience to the organization aiming to expand the company’s global impact across key markets like the US, Europe, and the Far East.
“Calik Denim has a strong heritage, but more importantly, a powerful and exciting future ahead,” said Karaduman, whose experiences include his role as North America general manager at Kordsa, and previously Unilever and Coca Cola.
“Our focus is clear: to lead the transformation of denim through innovation, responsible production, and a globally connected mindset. We are not only adapting to change – we are actively shaping it,” he added underlining how Calik Denim’s transformation program is closely tied to its sustainability framework, Passion for Denim, Passion for Life,” which positions responsible production as its core business model.
Among the company’s key commitment there is a renewed potential seen in a return to producing on the Mediterranean basin through nearshoring, as Karaduman recently explained in a previous story dedicated companies facing the Gulf war challenge (https://aliveandkiki.com/elementor-2277/).
Along with it, there is the company’s Net Zero roadmap, which outlines a measurable pathway toward reducing emissions across the entire value chain. Supported by science-based targets and continuous investments in renewable energy and low-impact technologies, Calik Denim reinforces its transition toward a lower-carbon future by SBTI commitment.
By closely monitoring global shifts in consumer behavior, material innovation, and fashion dynamics, the company wants to translate insights into forward-looking collections that can set a new direction for the denim industry.
Each collection is built on a mix between fabric construction, fiber innovation, and finishing technologies and creativity. The company’s new vision is embodied in Earth Echoes, the brand’s f/w 27/28 collection that will be launched at the Kingpins Show Amsterdam on April 15-16.
Among debuting innovations, they will launch Revo-Su, which significantly reduces water consumption in denim processing, a product selection that adds up to B210, the special treatment that enables the biodegradability of stretch fabrics.
“We are excited about our upcoming collection, Earth Echoes, which reflects our vision of combining advanced engineering with a more natural, intuitive understanding of materials. It represents. not only where denim is today, but where it is heading,” added Karaduman.
