Simone Rocha, founder and creative director of the brand that bears her name, will be the Guest Designer of next Pitti Immagine Uomo, taking place in Florence from June 16 to 19, 2026.
Within the show, the London-based Irish designer will host a special runway event to mark the launch of her first menswear collection.
Rocha was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. She made her debut at London Fashion Week in September 2010 and holds a Fashion Master’s degree from Central Saint Martins College in London, in addition to receiving numerous other accolades.
Her collections explore recurring themes such as Ireland, Hong Kong, art, and family. Her creations exemplify a modern style characterized by fine fabrics, innovative silhouettes, and handcrafted embellishments.
In addition to critical acclaim and collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious stores, Rocha continues to develop immersive retail experiences in her flagship stores.
“From the very start, Simone Rocha’s designs capture the eye, spark the imagination, and stir the emotions,” says Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at Pitti Immagine.
“At a time when a certain segment of menswear seems to be shifting toward more conservative stylistic choices, Simone remains true to herself and her vision, presenting her reflection on the intimate—rooted in personal connections such as Ireland, Hong Kong, art, and family,” she continues.
In her wearable sensory journey, the designer oscillates between the speed of the present and the distant past, gothic novellas and cult sportswear. “Simone Rocha doesn’t follow trends; she creates them and infects us with them. In a totally crossover logic, her rule-breaking looks emerge, always recognizable: in combinations and registers, eras and gender distinctions, proportions and décor,” emphasizes Tacconi.
“I would like to thank Pitti Uomo for this invitation to stage my first menswear-only fashion show as part of the men’s calendar. I am thrilled at the prospect of presenting my entire menswear collection in an exceptional setting like Florence. I can’t wait to embark on a new chapter of my work and my world, playing with tradition and exploring new themes,” commented the designer.
“I’ll approach it, as always, with a mix of authenticity and vulnerability, seriousness and playfulness,” she added.
