As already announced in this website, Denim Première Vision, the global denim trade show organized by Premiere Vision, will hold the first edition of Denim Première Vision in Tokyo, to be held on September 9 and 10, 2026, at the Yoyogi National Stadium – First Gymnasium, alongside Tranoï Tokyo.
After taking place in several European capitals throughout its history, like Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin, and Milan, the show continues its international expansion and will take place for the first time in Japan to showcase the f/w 2027/2028 collections.
Designed with a deliberately selective format, this edition will bring together a curated selection of around twenty international exhibitors, offering a platform for networking and business opportunities between key players in the denim supply chain and the Japanese fashion ecosystem.
Japan occupies a unique place in the history and evolution of denim, as it has been a cradle for craftsmanship, textile innovations, and iconic techniques, including selvedge denim and traditional indigo dyeing. Moreover, the country has become an international benchmark for high-end brands and designers.
The organization of Denim Première Vision in Tokyo reflects the ambition of GL events’ Fashion Division to strengthen ties between international denim players and Asian markets, highlight Japan’s key role in the industry’s contemporary transformation, and create synergies between its two shows—Première Vision and Tranoï.
“Since its inception, Denim Première Vision has supported the international denim community across various creative fields. With this special edition in Tokyo, we aim to create a new meeting place for key industry decision-makers and the Japanese fashion ecosystem, which is particularly creative and dynamic,” commented Florence Rousson.
The new edition of the show will bring together a carefully curated selection of companies representing different areas of expertise across the denim value chain and covering key stages of this chain, from spinning to accessories and sustainable materials. Among exhibitors there will be denim manufacturers, producers of innovative fabrics, specialists in washing and finishing technologies, accessory suppliers, and companies developing innovative solutions in sustainability and new materials.
The show expects that the event will attract attendees like Japanese and international fashion brands, designers, product development teams, merchandisers, buyers, OEM and ODM partners, as well as specialists in textile innovation and sustainability.
This edition of Denim Première Vision in Tokyo will be held alongside Tranoï Tokyo, the fashion trade show launched in Japan two years ago and organized in partnership with the Japan Fashion Week Organization.
With 250 collections spanning ready-to-wear, accessories, and lifestyle, Tranoï Tokyo showcases the s/s 2027 season and brings together designers from Japan, Asia, and Europe, as well as buyers from Japan and across the Asian region.
While Tranoï Tokyo highlights contemporary brands and designers, Denim Première Vision in Tokyo focuses on the upstream segment of the denim industry.
Held simultaneously, these two events want to foster new synergies between creative vision and product development and bring together designers, brands, manufacturers, and innovators within a unified, forward-looking fashion ecosystem.
